Whether it’s a thought-provoking two-act story or a single joy-filled piece, it is our hope to share everything beautiful and meaningful found in dance and the performing arts with our audience!
Professional Company
City Ballet Theater Company is a classical, contemporary, and neoclassical ballet company that brings the art and love of dance and theater to audiences of all ages.
Our repertoire includes a variety of productions and themes, from well-known classical ballet performances like Sleeping Beauty, to fun variety shows featuring multiple dance styles, to brand new original works. Among some of our upcoming shows are full stage productions based on biblical stories that share faith, joy, courage, truth, hope, and love with our community and the world.
City Ballet Theater’s performance schedule features multiple shows throughout the year, both in solo outings and with the City Ballet Theater School. The company also seeks out opportunities to perform at community venues and events throughout Missouri and the Mid-west.
Advanced dancers enrolled at City Ballet Theater School may be invited to audition to become Trainees and Apprentices with our City Ballet Theater Company.
CBT Young Artists Company
Our Pre-Professional Young Artists Company is comprised of students from the City Ballet Theater School. Each year, students ages 13-18 in our school’s Pre-Professional Program may be invited to audition for the Young Artists Company and perform in multiple shows throughout the year, including our City Ballet Theater Professional Company productions.
