City Ballet Theater will be performing alongside multiple other artists at Jerry Presley’s God and Country Theater in Branson, Missouri – one of the biggest entertainment cities in the country. We are very excited to be a part of this year’s festival!

Unto Us: The Story of Christmas returns for the 2023-2024 season!
This original production is a joyous and heartfelt celebration of the true reason for the Christmas season. Unto Us will feature returning favorites from our inaugural 2022 performance alongside all-new pieces highlighting the events surrounding the first coming of Christ and the meaning of His birth.

Our second annual Nutcracker Tea Party fundraiser returns this holiday season with the “Land of the Sweets”!
This fun event will feature a performance showcase from CBT’s Christmas Variety Show + Nutcracker Suite, photo opportunities and meet-and-greets with the cast, holiday-themed tea and treats, and winter-fun games!
The Little Mermaid: A Tail of the Sea

City Ballet Theater’s 2024 Spring Production – The Little Mermaid: A Tail of the Sea – is an ALL-NEW production based on the beloved story!

Come celebrate our dancers and CBT’s amazing first year! Join us for a special fundraiser event featuring a performance showcase by City Ballet Theater Company and School.
We will have entertainment including vignettes from Sleeping Beauty and exclusive Gala performances, yummy appetizers and hor d’oeuvres, drinks, prizes, dancer meet and greets, and fun!

National Dance Week Kansas City

City Ballet Theater Company had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the National Dance Week Kansas City performance weekend on April 8th, hosted by Arts Inspired Network.
City Ballet Theater was also happy to be a sponsor for this year’s event, and the company presented two pieces from our current repertoire.

KHF Freedom Walk

City Ballet Theater is honored to be invited to perform at Columbia, Missouri’s first Freedom Walk presented by the Kirsten Haglund Foundation!
The Kirsten Haglund Foundation is a nonprofit that works to raise awareness and provide financial support to individuals receiving eating disorder treatment nationwide, and the goal of this event is to bring awareness to eating disorders, provide community resources for recovery, and raise money for treatment scholarships.
City Ballet Theater Company will be performing at this event along with City Ballet Theater School’s Intermediate and Advanced Adult Ballet Class, which includes four former dancers who have returned to dance and performing.

The Nutcracker: Clara’s Dream follows the story of a young girl who receives a special gift during her family’s Christmas party. After a fun and festive Christmas Eve night spent celebrating with her family, Clara dreams of a world filled with dancing mice, snowflakes, flowers, and sweets that is sure to bring holiday-filled delight to an audience of all ages!
