Summer Classes

Summer Bridge Classes
Summer classes are one night per week (per level) and will be held ONLY during the weeks listed below. Please sign up using the Registration page for the weeks you’d like your dancer to attend.
Minimum of 3 dancers to hold each class.
Summer 2023 classes are held the following weeks:
- June 26 – 30
- July 6 – 14
- July 31 – Aug 11
TUESDAY CLASSES:
- PRE Ballet
Ages 4-6
4:30pm – 5:15pm
$10 per week
- BEG/INT Ballet and BEG/INT Tap
(tap shoes not required for summer)
Ages 6-11
5:30 – 6:30pm (Ballet)
6:30 – 7:00pm (Tap)
$15 per week for both
- ADULT BEG-ADV Ballet
Age 18+
7:15 – 8:15pm
$10 per week
THURSDAY CLASSES:
- INT/ADV Ballet and INT/ADV Contemporary
Ages – 12+
5:30 – 6:30pm (Ballet)
6:30 – 7:00 pm (Contemporary)
$15 per week for both
- INT/ADV Tap (tap shoes ARE required)
Ages 12+
7:15 – 8:00 pm
$10 per week

Petite Dancer Program
“Under the Sea”
Monday – Friday
10:30AM – 12:30PM
June 19th – 23rd
Ages 4-7
Our Petite Dancer Program is a week-long summer camp for our youngest dancers including classes in ballet and jazz. Concluding this week will be an Observation Day and the “Under the Sea” showcase on Friday for family and friends to watch the students perform special ballet and jazz pieces that they learned throughout the program.

Junior Dancer Program
Monday – Friday
1:30 – 4:30PM
June 19th – 23rd
Ages 8-11
Our Junior Dancer Program is a week-long summer training program for dancers ages 8-11 and includes classes in ballet, variations, jazz, and tap (tap shoes not required to attend). At the end of the week on Friday will be a showcase for family and friends to watch the students perform a demonstration and the pieces they learned throughout the week.

Young Artists Program
Monday – Friday

July 17th – 21st
Ages 12-18
Our Young Artists Program is designed for dancers ages 12-18 who are looking for an intensive training experience to enhance their technique and artistry. This week-long intensive includes daily classes in classical ballet, variations, Progressing Ballet Technique, pre-pointe/pointe, modern/contemporary, and jazz. Friday concludes with a showcase at which students will perform pieces learned throughout the week in these various styles.

Showcase of the Arts Program

Our Showcase of the Arts Program is a week-long intensive training experience designed to give students a well-rounded look at a variety of dance possibilities in the arts – from classical, modern, and contemporary companies to stage and screen careers.
Showcase of the Arts half-day students (ages 10-12) will have classes in Ballet and Jazz/Musical Theater and will perform a ballet demonstration and a Musical Theater Jazz piece at the end of the week showcase.
Full-day student training for ages 12-18 includes Ballet, Contemporary, Broadway Jazz/Musical Theater, Acting, and Tap. At the end of the week, students will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned throughout the week in these various styles in a performance of The Littlest Mermaid for friends and family, which will be a preview of City Ballet Theater’s upcoming 2024 spring performance The Little Mermaid: A Tail of Sea.

Adult Dance Program

Our Adult Dance Program is designed specifically for adults ages 18 and older of all experience levels, from complete beginners to professionals.
Our week-long program is designed to give dancers an opportunity to learn and train in various dance styles, including ballet, variations, contemporary, jazz, and tap.
Our Saturday workshop is designed to give attendees to try various dance styles in one day and will include ballet, variations, contemporary, jazz, and tap.
